6-8. Upper shaft mechanism

1） Tighten the screw of the thread take-up crank so that
it is aligned with the upper shaft hole.
2） While pressing the thread take-up crank so that there
is no play in it, tighten the two set screws (8).
Apply adhesive (Threebond 1401 or similar) to the thread
section of the screw.
Install the bobbin winder driving
wheel so that it is in phase with the
thread take-up crank and aligned
with the reference line on the upper
shaft.
BAS-311G, BAS-326G
Apply adhesive (Threebond 1324 or similar) to the
outside of the bearing of joint assy.
