Note:
The "Destination" menu displays
different menu items, depending
upon which address information
you have already entered.
In the "Destination" menu, select
and confi rm the "Points of inter-
est" menu item.
The point of interest areas
"Position area", "Destination area"
and "Suprareg. destinations" are
displayed.
Note:
The "Position area" menu item is
displayed only if the navigation
system can determine the cur-
rent position. The "Destination
area" menu item is displayed only
if you enter a destination fi rst.
In the "Destination" menu, select
and confi rm the area in which
you are looking for the point of
interest.
Under "Position area", you can
fi nd fi lling stations, hotels or
museums in the vicinity sur-
rounding the vehicle position.
Under "Destination area", you
can fi nd points of interest in
the vicinity of the previously
entered destination.
Under "Suprareg. destinations",
you can fi nd points of interest
of a supraregional character,
such as motorway exits, air-

The list of point of interest cat-
egories is displayed.
Select and confi rm the desired
category.
The text input or a list appears.
Note:
If you are looking for a point of
interest in the position or des-
tination area, this list also fea-
tures the distance (straight line)
and the cardinal point to the re-
spective point of interest and the
points of interest are sorted by
distance.
Enter the name of the point of in-
terest in the text input (see p. 52)
or select the name of the point
of interest from the list.
The destination guidance starts
(see p. 62).
You can now do the following at any
time:
Change
(see p. 68),
store the destination (see be-
low),
cancel the destination guidance
(see p. 66).

Saving destinations

You can save a destination which
you entered. This destination can
subsequently be called up at any
time to start a new destination guid-
ance.

destinations:
