Putting through telephone calls automatically =ELEPHONE If the device is properly connected to a car telephone, telephone calls will be outputted over the loudspeakers of the TravelPilot E. TELEPHONE appears in the display. The call will be put through even if the TravelPilot E is switched off. The Travel- Pilot E will then switch on for the duration of the telephone call. -

Dynamic navigation NAVI During dynamic navigation, the TravelPilot E analyses digital traffic information TRAFF. JAM messages and uses this information when planning the route. The system ROUTE OPTI receives the traffic messages from TMC (Traffic Message Channel) stations.
