VOICE MAIL – GETTING STARTED
Before using your voicemail, you need to first configure your personal mailbox by setting your
password and recording your mailbox greeting.
Setting your Password
When accessing your mailbox for the first time, you will be asked to enter the default password and
then you will hear the prompt, "the current password is not set, please enter the new password
followed by the # key". To continue you must enter a new password.
Accessing the Voicemail
Either - Press the Message key
> Press the Func soft key; scroll down to VM and use the OK on the Navigation button or,
> Alternatively Dial [*] [8] [5] and press the Call soft key.
Enter the original default password as provided by your administrator (eg 0000)
Enter a new password with a minimum of 4 digits. (Important, simple passwords will not be
accepted eg 1234 by the system. The password must be a mix of numbers)
Press [1] to accept and save the new password
Recording your Greeting
This is the greeting callers will hear when they are answered by your voicemail. (Also known as
you're No-Answer Greeting)
Either - Press the Message key
> Press the Func soft key; scroll down to VM and use the OK on the Navigation button or,
> Alternatively Dial [*] [8] [5] and press the Call soft key.
Enter your new password.
Dial [5] [1] [2]
Record your greeting and then press [2] on completion to end the recording.
Press [1] to review (playback) your recording.
Simply hangup, or follow the prompts to re-record your greeting.
Listening to New Messages
To listen to your new messages, Press the Message key
button or,
> Press the Func soft key, scroll down to VM and use the OK and enter your password.
The system will announce the number of New and Saved messages. The first new message
will begin playback automatically.
