    ANSI A156.13 specification, making it the best choice for any building where security, safety, and design compatibility are the prime considerations. The L-Series lock uses one common mortise lock case for all trim. This allows excellent design flexibility in trim combinations such as knob by lever, lever by knob, as well as knob by knob or lever by lever.

    Switch (Not Furnished) Typical Installation • Electrified L-Series locks contain a transistorized circuit which provides full voltage to the solenoid upon initial application of electrical power and at 5 to 10 second intervals. • Each lock should preferably have its own 24 volt transformer.

    S E R I E S Door Handing One of the revolutionary features of the L-Series mortise lock is that handing can be done by the distributor or installer quickly and easily without opening the lock case. This feature allows a Schlage distributor to order L-Series locks as stock and customize the handing to each order’s specification.
