4.7 MX2 Back: Width & Height Adjustments
IMPORTANT! Please note that Width and Height adjustments on the
MX2 back are made simultaneously. During installation, we recommend
making adjustments one bracket at a time and securing each bracket just
enough to prevent slipping following each adjustment. The mounting
hardware can be fully tightened upon completion of the installation/set-up.
1 Mounting Pin Width Adjustment: With the MX2 Back latched into
the mounting plates, adjust the mounting pin (A A ) width on each mounting
bracket (B B ) so that a minimum gap of 1/8" (3
head of the mounting pins and the outside of the mounting plate (C)*.
(Refer to Fig. 7).
*NOTE: for a standard MX2 Back installation, the back shell should remain
centered between the back canes following a width adjustment. (Mounting
brackets should be adjusted symmetrically on the back shell)
2 Tighten both the mounting bracket assemblies just enough to prevent
them from slipping.
