CHECKING THE COMPRESSOR

Checking the Compressor
If a compressor error, or any error related to the electrical system has occurred, check for the items below and follow the procedure listed.

How long has power been on during

Ohm meter testing terminal to terminal
on the compressor.

1. The compressor stops and same error
appears again.
2. Inverter output voltage is stable (1).

0V (if digital tester is unavailable).

Go to Step 2.
Go to Step 2 after power has been on
for 12 hours.
Check if IPM has failed.
• Check insulation and coil resistors.
If both are normal, restart the unit. If
the same error occurs again, replace
the compressor.
