1. Adjust the upper thread tension properly by turning the
tension nut (1).
2. Adjust the lower thread tension properly by turning the
tension nut (2).

Adjust the presser foot pressure by turning the adjusting screw
(1) so that the pressure is just enough to feed the work positively
and keep the work from slipping.
