PREPARATORY OPERATION

Instructions relating to heating are applicable only to "HEAT & COOL MODEL" (Reverse Cycle).
Set the current day and time
Press for 3 seconds.

Press repeatedly to adjust the current

time in 1-minute increments. Press con-
tinuously to adjust the current time in 10-
minute increments.

OPERATION

Instructions relating to heating are applicable only to "HEAT & COOL MODEL" (Reverse Cycle).
To start/stop operation
Start time: Operation lamp will light up.
Stop time: Operation lamp will go out.
To set the operation mode

Temperature setting range:
AUTO ....................................................... 18 to 30 °C
Heating .................................................... 16 to 30 °C
Cooling/Dry ............................................. 18 to 30 °C
Vertical air direction adjustment (1)(2) (Swing operation)
* Press the START/STOP button to start the air conditioner,
and then proceed as follows.
To set the swing operation, press the VERTICAL
SWING button for more than 2 seconds. (Stop
the setting by pressing for more than 2 seconds
again.)
Energy save setting
Stop the "ENERGY SAVE" setting by pressing
the ENERGY SAVE button again.
NOTES
(1) • Always use the remote controller's AIRFLOW DIRECTION button.
Attempting to move the air direction louvers manually could re-
sult in improper operation; in this case, stop operation and re-
start.
The flaps should begin to operate properly again.
• During use of the Cooling mode, do not set the VERTICAL air
direction flap in the 4 position for long time, since water vapor
may condense near the outlet port and drops of water may drip
from the air conditioner.
(2) • The range of swing is relative to the currently set airflow direc-
tion.
• The SWING operation may stop temporarily when the air condi-
tioner's fan is not operating, or when operating at very low speeds.

* Press the START/STOP button to start the air conditioner,
and then proceed as follows.
To set the swing operation, press the HORIZON-
TAL SWING button for more than 2 seconds.
(Stop the setting by pressing for more than 2
seconds again.)
Anti freeze setting
* Press the START/STOP button to stop the air conditioner,
and then proceed as follows.
Press at the same time for more than 3 seconds.
Stop the "ANTI FREEZE" setting by pressing
at the same time for more than 3 sec-
onds again.
