SQL (Squelch Level)
You can manually adjust the squelch level using this function:
1. Press the this key. A tone sounds and SQL appears on the display with the current
squelch level.
2. Rotate the DIAL knob to select the desired level.
3. Press the this key. A tone sounds and the display returns to the normal channel.
Encryption (Option)
When the Voice Scrambler feature is enabled, pressing the A button toggles the Scram-
bler on and off.
