Safely disconnect the USB device from your
computer.
2 Open the notification drawer and touch Turn off USB
storage.
3 Touch Turn off in the dialogue box that opens.

WARNING
Do not insert or remove the microSD card
when the phone is on. This might damage the
microSD card as well as your phone, and the
data stored on the microSD card could be
corrupted. To remove the microSD card safely,
from the homescreen press the Menu key
and touch Settings > SD card & phone storage >
Unmount SD card.
