The RCA (AUDIO-L and R) connectors are used for equipment, such as an audio system
(to take full advantage of the Surround sound effect).

COMMON INTERFACE
PCMCIA Slot supports the DVB Common Interface
(DVB-CI) standard. This connection is provided for
future expansion of your Samsung DTV set
allowing the installation of DVB-CI compatible
peripherals, for example a DVB-CI module to
support pay TV services. The availability of DVB-CI
peripherals varies country by country.
Please contact your retailer for information about the
availability of DVB-CI peripherals in your region.
The Common Interface in the menu is active (white
characters) when the CI-card is properly inserted.
It is inactive when the card is improperly inserted.
Inserting the CI (Common Interface) card
If you want to watch the scrambled channel, insert
the CI card into the COMMON INTERFACE slot.
Please be sure to match the colour coded input terminals and cable
jacks.
