Quickly Switching to the Silent Mode

Silent mode is convenient when discretion is
required and you wish to stop the phone from
making noise, in a theater for example.
In Idle Mode, press and hold the
"Silent Mode" message and the Vibration icon (
display.
In the silent mode, your phone changes the sound
settings as follows:
Option
Alert Type (Menu 3.4)
Keypad Tone (Menu 3.5)
Message Tone (Menu 3.6)
Folder Tone (Menu 3.7)
Power Off Tone
Extra Tones (Menu 3.9)
To exit and reactivate the previous sound settings,
press and hold the
key again until "Exit Silent
Mode" appears. The Vibration icon (
