GENERAL
The 48PD
rooftop
unit
uses
Puron ® (R-410A)
refrigerant
and
ComfortLink
"_ DDC controls.
It is intended
to be used in either a
displacement
ventilation
or a single-zone
variable
air volume
application,
The unit includes
a factory installed
variable
capacity
compressor
and variable
frequency
drive indoor
fan motor.
This
manual
provides
instruction
for installation
of the unit,
Refer to
the
unit
Controls
and
Troubleshooting
book
for
additional
information
on configuring
controls.
SAFETY
CONSIDERATIONS
Installation
and servicing
of air-conditioning
equipment
can be
hazardous
due to system
pressure
and electrical
components.
Only
trained
and qualified
service
personnel
should
install,
repair,
or
service
air-conditioning
equipment.
Untrained
personnel
can perform
the basic maintenance
functions
of replacing
filters.
All other
operations
should
be performed
by
trained
service
personnel.

working
on
air-conditioning
equipment,
observe

in the literature,
tags and labels
attached
to the unit, and other safety precautions
that may apply.
