Browser Settings

Browser settings (Menu 9.7.2) lets you select a connection profile to be
used when connecting to the Internet. For more information, see "Internet
Settings" on page 61.

Camera Settings

Camera settings (Menu 9.7.3) let you set the default preferences for
camera functionality. Scroll left and right to view or change the settings
within each option tab:
1. Size tab: Allows you to set the image size. Choose from 1280 x 1024,
800 x 600, 640 x 480, 320 x 240 or 240 x 180 pixels. The icon for the
selected size appears on the capture screen.
2. Quality tab: Allows you to select the picture quality setting. Choose
from Superfine, Fine, Normal, Low or Economy. Better quality photos
require more file space.
3. Display tab: Lets you configure how the camera displays the subject of
a photograph on the screen. Choose from Actual Screen, Full Screen &
Guideline, Full Screen & Indicator or Full Screen.
4. Scene Program tab: Lets you select from preset profiles for Normal or
Night-time Landscape light conditions.
5. Exposure Metering: Allows you to select whether image exposure is
calculated based on Matrix metering (average exposure over the full
image) or Spot metering (center of the image only).
6. Shutter Sound tab: Lets you select the shutter sound that indicates a
picture has been taken. The sounds are previewed as you scroll
through the options.
