4. Using the StoreJet with Windows
Connecting StoreJet to a Computer
1. Power on your computer.
2. As the below picture shows, connect the Drive's USB cable to your computer's USB port.
3. For StoreJet 35, please connect the DC Power Adapter cable to the round DC socket on
the back of your StoreJet 35. Plug in the DC Power Adapter to a domestic power socket.
4. Check if the drive now shows up in Disk Management on your computer.
5. If the drive shows up, you can now use the StoreJet as an external hard drive and start
transferring data.
Disconnecting StoreJet from a Computer
1. Select the Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media icon on the system tray in
Wondows.
2. Eject StoreJet drive.
3. A window will appear stating, "The 'USB Mass Storage Device' device can now be
safely removed from the system." Then unplug the StoreJet.
To prevent data loss, always use this procedure to remove the StoreJet.
NEVER disconnect the StoreJet from a Computer when its LED is flashing
