1. Plug the library power cable into the back of the library and into a
grounded power outlet. (This may or may not power on the library
depending upon the state of the power switch.)
2. If the library power-on indicator lights and the display shows the
message, Power On Selftest in Progress, press the control panel power
switch (
) to turn the library power Off.
3. Install any library covers that are not installed.
Note: Use care when installing the rear cover after the SCSI cables
have been attached to the 8mm Tape Library.
