3. Close battery cover and turn battery-
cover release to "CLOSE" position until it
stops.
• When loading the battery, always inspect
the a-ring and egdes of battery chamber.
Gently wipe surfaces with a clean, dry cloth
to remove any dirt, sand, and moisture. If
the a-ring is damaged, loosened, or shows
cracking, do not use the camera; contact an
Authorized Minolta Service Center.
Cautions
Improper handling of batteries may result in
explosion or heat generation.
• Never. use batteries that show signs of
leaking or cracking.
• When inserting batteries, make sure the +
and - terminals face in the correct direction.
• Don't mix batteries of different types, ages,
or brands.
