Load Transfer

The transfer of load when the generator is running is
dependent upon the operating mode.
Shutting Generator Down While
Under Load Or During An
Extended Outage
Proceed as follows to turn the generator off during utility
outages to perform maintenance or conserve fuel:
To turn the generator OFF (while running in
AUTO and online):
1. Turn the main utility disconnect off.
2. Turn the MLCB (generator disconnect) on the
generator to OFF (OPEN).
3. Allow generator to run approximately 1 minute for
proper cooling.
4. Press the OFF button on the controller.

To turn the generator back ON:

1. Put the generator into AUTO and allow to start and
warm-up for a few minutes.
2. Set the MLCB (generator disconnect) on the
generator to ON (CLOSED).
The system is now in automatic mode. The main utility
disconnect can be turned ON (CLOSED). To shut the unit
off, this complete process must be repeated.
