(More than light
brown)
Troubleshooting
Is the pan bottom properly contacted with
the cast heater?
(Check with the bubbling test).
Yes
Does the center thermostat operate
properly?
(Check with the operation test).
Yes
Is the rice boiling control lever properly
adjusted?
Yes
Is the cast heater conductive?
Yes
Improper operation
• Rice is excessive or insufficient.
• Water is excessive or insufficient.
• The switch is turned off once during
boiling.
• Immediately after the switch is turned
off, open the cap.
• Rice has not been scooped and mixed
well.
Does the center thermostat operate
properly?
(Check with the evaporation test).
Yes
Is the rice boiling control lever properly
adjusted?
Yes
Improper operation
• Rice is not washed sufficiently.
(Bran remains still).
• The pan bottom is conditioned to
generate burning easily.
• Germ rice or wheat-mixed rice is boiled.
• Mixed rice is boiled.
• The voltage is lower than specified.
• Water is excessive.

• Replace the inner pan or the
cast heater.
