    Introduction A. O. Smith RO Water Purifier uses one of the latest technologies that is used in water purification process. A. O. Smith RO Water Purifier works under the principle of RO (Reverse Osmosis) technology which is found to be one of the most effective process.
  • Page 9 Stage 5 – RO (Reverse Osmosis) membrane  RO membrane contains semi-permeable membrane wherein the water is passed through the semi-permeable membrane to remove TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) and heavy metals like mercury, arsenic, lead, chromium, cadmium etc. It also removes microorganisms like bacteria, virus, protozoa and cysts.
