• Connection via a USB hub is not possible.
• A USB cable is required for connection.
USB cable
USB storage device
Unplugging a USB storage device

Pull out the USB storage device from the USB cable.
NOTES
• Check that no data is being accessed before pulling out the USB storage device.
• Turn off (ACC OFF) the ignition switch before unplugging the USB storage device.

Starting procedure

For Disc

Insert the disc (page 47).
TIP
If the disc is already set, select [Disc] as the playing source.
For USB/SD

Insert the SD memory card into the SD card slot or plug the USB storage device
into the USB connector.

Press

Touch [USB] or [SD].
Playback is performed in order of folder numbers. Folders are skipped if they contain
no playable files.

Basic operation

TIPS
• By pressing
then touch

, you can also skip files/chapters forwards or backwards.
• By pressing
then touch and hold

reverse or fast forwards.
• You can set the screen size for the video and image files (page 75).
Audio source
Audio source screen 1 (Example: USB)
Displays the link search screen.
Touch the song to play back followed by touching the song information, after
switching to Music Browse mode (page 49).
TIP
If you touch the artwork, the list of songs in the album is displayed.
NOTE
This function is available for the external storage device (USB, SD) only.
Switches between playback and pause.

[Video]: Compressed video files
