and turn it 1/4 inch

for long periods.
To prevent battery corrosion, the unit
should be kept in a dry environment.
Dead batteries should be removed
immediately and disposed of properly.
Do not use recharged batteries with
this appliance. The lower voltage in
recharged batteries impairs the
performance of the cutting unit.

Changing the Heads
on the NEDH-2000 and
NEDH-2500
The NEDH-2000 and NEDH-2500 come
with interchangeable heads. You many
want to use the rotary head to trim nose
hairs, and the linear head for ear and
eyebrow hairs.
To change heads:
1. Turn the trimmer off.
2. Detach cutting head by turning it counter
clockwise to the unlocked position and
pulling it off.
3. Once the previous head is removed,
attach the other head by placing it on
top of the unit and turning it clockwise
to the locked position.

Cleaning & Maintenance
Your nose and ear trimmer is designed to
give you years of comfortable use. To
ensure that you get optimal performance
from your trimmer, follow these simple
cleaning and lubrication tips:
Cleaning Your Trimmer
After each use, brush or blow accumulated
hair from the cutting unit.
Rinsing your trimmer
The NE-3, NE-4, NEDH-2000, and
NEDH-2500 can also be rinsed with
cool or warm water. Just hold the unit's
head under the faucet — it is not
necessary to remove the head first.
Do not use hot water.
If the trimmer needs additional clean-
ing, the cutting head can be removed
by turning it 1/4 inch to the right and
pulling it off. Then blow out the accu-
mulated hair or rinse it more thoroughly
under running water.
Afterward, shake excess water from the
cutter head, making sure that all parts
are held together.
Replace the head in the same position
as it was removed, turning it 1/4 inch
counter clockwise until it locks
into place.
!
The NE-1 cannot be rinsed.
Lubricating the cutters
After rinsing the unit, apply a drop
or two of mineral oil or baby oil to
the cutting teeth.
Don't apply too much oil, or it
may spray.
Finally, point the trimmer down and
away from you, and turn it on. This
spreads the oil evenly and expels
any excess.
