PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
8. Remove the pressure cap
(Figure 11, (2)) from the heat
exchanger.
9. Inspect the cap gasket and flange on the
filler neck for damage. Replace if
necessary.
10. Check the rubber hose connecting the
coolant recovery tank to the heat
exchanger. Be sure the hose is securely
connected and there is no damage.
11. Fill the heat exchanger and recovery
tank with approved coolant mix.See

Every 1000 Hours of Operation

Perform the following maintenance every
1000 hours of operation or every 4 years,
whichever comes first.
• Checking Flexible Engine Mounts
Checking Flexible Engine Mounts
Check flexible engine mounts for damage,
cracks or wear. See your authorized Yanmar
marine dealer or distributor for replacement.
