When choosing the installation site, any obstacles to move-
ment (doors, stairs, etc.) should be taken into account.
(
1) For all transport operations use only the pallet on
which the hot tub can be placed, while during installation sup-
port it by using only straps of adequate capacity, that can be in-
serted into the runners and brackets at the bottom of the hot
tub; after final installation, these brackets can be removed and
kept for any future handling.
If it is not possible to use straps, the hot tub can be moved by
holding it by the corner supports.
NOTE: this type of movement must be performed with extreme
care and the customer or its representative must assume full
responsibility for it.
Jacuzzi Europe S.p.A. accepts no liability for damages caused
by said operation or any other inappropriate handling proce-
dures.
In any case, for all the transport and positioning op-
erations, support the hot tub only using the belts or
from the perimeter edge, and NEVER from the hydrau-
lic pipes, always using protective gloves.

Positioning of the hot tub

Set the hot tub on a base that can sustain the load (refer to the
pre-installation instructions).
Prolonged sun exposure could damage the material
of which is made the hot tub shell, due to its capacity
to absorb heat (dark colours in particular). Don't leave
the hot tub to sun exposure without adequate protec-
tion when not in use (cover thermal, gazebo, etc.).
Any damage arising by not following these warnings
are not covered by the guarantee.
Plumbing connections
Refer to the preinstallation instructions for the connection or
the drain.
Connect to the water mains to fill the hot tub (as per standard
EN 1717).
Install the locking system of the cover (
Electric connections and safety
The installer is responsible for choosing wires with characteristics
and nominal section that are suitable for the specific current input
of the hot tub (see pre-installation instructions).
The cable path, choice of materials and most suitable installation
solutions are left to the professional knowledge and experience of the
installer; it is his responsibility to guarantee and certify the installation.
Depending on the hot tub model proceed with the connec-
tion to the terminal block as indicated in the following diagrams
(
3,
3a, 3b)
NOTE: if the power supply has two phases + neutral (380-415 V
2N~) remove the indicated jumper located near the power supply
terminal board before making the connection.
To ensure the degree of protection against water as required
by standards, a cable clamp has been installed to make connec-
tion the electrical system easier.
When installation is complete, the cable clamp and the cover
of the box must be hermetically closed.
Models with the "PERFORMANCE" filtering unit (spa-pak):
refer to the respective manual for the connection to the hot tub.
Models with a supplementary heater (optional): refer to
the respective manual for the correct installation of the heater.
JACUZZI EUROPE S.p.A. denies all responsibility:
If installation is carried out by personnel unqualified and/or unau-
thorised to certify the work carried out.
If current norms and legal provisions regarding the electric systems
of buildings in the country in which installation is carried out are
not complied with.
If the instructions for installation and maintenance contained in
this manual are not followed.
If unsuitable and/or uncertified materials are used for installation.
If the hot tubs are not installed in compliance with the above pro-
visions.
If incorrect operations are performed that reduce the level of protec-
tion of the electrical equipment against water jets, modify the protec-
tion against electrocution due to direct or indirect contact, or produce
abnormal conditions of insulation, current leakage or overheating.
If any components or parts of the appliance are altered in relation
to the original state when supplied, releasing the Manufacturer
from any liability.
