7: Troubleshooting
Remedy
Worn seals in inlet valve. Replace
seals (kits available).
Defective pressure regulating valves;
repair valves (kits available).
Free or repair inlet valve
Check the valve operation. Replace if
necessary.
Clean strainer (screen and O-ring
replacement kit available).
Check that the sump pressure is
exhausted to the atmosphere when in
the unloaded mode. Repair or replace if
necessary (kit available).
Clean or repair as necessary
Check all control lines and compo-
nents.
Ice in control line or components. Run
fan in REVERSE direction when oper-
ating below freezing.
Clean orifice or strainer.
Change separator.
Check all pipes, connections and com-
ponents.
Drain and change.
Drain and change.
Increase compressor operating pres-
sure
Drain excess fluid.
Replace.
Adjust Pressure switch per Section
6.13.3: Unload pressure setting on
page 49.
Replace or repair solenoid valve
