Connecting External Speakers
The monitor doesn't have inter nal speakers, so in or der to get sound you must connect exter n al speakers. External speakers
can reproduce sound from VIDEO or RGB signal sour c es.
External speakers may be connected dir e ctly to the SPEAKERS ter m inals or indirectly by connecting a ster eo system
amplifier to the audio outputs.
CAUTION: Unplug the monitor and all connected components before connecting external speakers. Use only speakers
with 6 to 8-ohm impedance and a power output rating of 7 watts or more.
To connect external speakers directly to the monitor:
1.
Strip the ends of the speaker wir e s.
2.
Press down the tabs below the speaker ter m inals and insert the speaker wir e and release the tab to secur e the speaker
wire connection.

Connect the right speaker (located at right side of the monitor when viewed fr om the front) positive (+) wire to
RIGHT +.
[b] Connect the right speaker negative (–) wir e to RIGHT -.
[c]
Connect the left speaker negative (–) wir e to LEFT–.
[d] Connect the left speaker positive wir e (+) to LEFT+.
