PROBLEM
Engine continues to
run when ignition key
is in the off position.
PTO or mower blades
do not engage or shuts
off.
Unit does not drive.
TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBABLE CAUSE
1. Ignition switch failure.
2. Ignition ground wire
disconnected (922210,
212, 213, 217).
1. Operator presence
switch not depressed.
2. Faulty PTO switch.
1. Parking brake
engaged.
2. Transmission bypass
valves open.
3. Hydraulic oil level low.
4. Faulty hydraulic drive
system.

CORRECTION
1. Replace ignition
switch. See your
Gravely Dealer.
1. Connect ground wire to
clean metal surface.
1. Depress operator
presence switch by
sitting on seat.
2. See your Gravely
Dealer.
1. Disengage parking
brake.
2. Close transmission
bypass valves (see
Moving Unit Manually
on page 19).
3. Add hydraulic oil (see
Checking Hydraulic Oil
Level on page 33).
4. See your Gravely
Dealer.
