3 Click the Hardware tab.
4 Select your optical disc drive from the All disk drives list and click Properties.
5 Click the DVD Region tab.
6 Select an appropriate region from the list and click OK.

You can change the DVD region code only a limited number of times. When you have exceeded this number, the drive's DVD region code is permanently
assigned and you will not be able to change it again. Reconfiguring your computer does not reset this count.
If you change the DVD region code while the WinDVD or WinDVD BD software is running, restart the software or eject the disc and re-insert it to make
the new setting effective.

The default region code "6" is assigned to your computer's optical disc drive. Do not change this setting using any software
applications. System malfunctions originating from the user changing the DVD region code are beyond the scope of your
warranty and will result in service charges for repair.

Playing CDs

To play an audio CD

1 Insert a disc into the optical disc drive.
2 If nothing appears on the desktop, then click Start, All Programs, and the desired CD software to play the CD.
If the Audio CD window appears, click to select an option.
