Disc lock

Although you can't use parental control on VCD and SVCD discs, you still can

apply the function of disc lock to exclude them from your player.
When you lock the current disc, the player will store its typical code into the

memory for the future identification. The DVD player will prompt to enter the
password for the next playback.
The password in DISC LOCK is the same as in PARENTAL CONTROL. But

you still can use the default password 9999 to unlock the disc.
You can follow the steps below to setup the parental control.

- Highlight the item RATING in the top menu by pressing the 1 2 keys, and
press the SELECT key to enter the submenu.
- Press the 34 keys to select the item PASSWORD and enter your code to log
on. You can enter the default password 9999 firstly by pressing the numerical
keys, and then press the SELECT key to confirm.
- Highlight the item DISC LOCK by pressing the 34 keys and press the SE-
LECT key to change the setup.
- There are two options. One is unlocked that indicates the disc is unlocked, the
other is locked that means the disc is locked.
- Press the 34 keys to select the item PASSWORD and enter your pass
word.
- Press the SELECT key to confirm.
- You can press the key SETUP to quit the setup menu.
NOTE:
- DVD discs beyond the setting range will not play in the player having
parental control, but that won't influence its normal playback in other
players.
