    0 Press 3 4 to switch on karaoke function. Load a karaoke disc and press PLAY to playback. Turn on the microphone which is connected with the DVD player and you can enjoy the Karaoke immediatly. To adjust the volume of microphone, turn the knob LEVEL1 or LEVEL2 on the right of front panel.

    Press the 1 key to return to the GENERAL SETUP menu. NOTE: 1. When playback a locked disc, the DVD player will prompt to enter your password or 3308 (default) password. 2. To change the password , refer to the option PASSWORD in the PREFERENCES menu .

    Move the cursor by pressing the 34 keys to highlight the selected item. 0 LT/RT This item will be used only if your DVD player is connected with Dobly Prologic decoder. Meanwhile, the DVD player can send the output of Dobly Prologic signals.

    Setup Menu Center speaker This function is effective only when DOWNMIX is OFF. When you are using a center speaker, set to CENTER on in the menu. Press the 34 keys to highlight the CENTER item. Press OK to open its submenu. Enter its submenu by pressing the 2 key.

    Press the 34 keys to choose the SPDIF SETUP menu. Press OK. NOTE: SPDIF is the abbreviation of Sony Philips Digital Interface which is a protocol of digital data transfering. SPDIF OUT setup Press the 34 keys to highlight the SPDIF OUT item.

    Smart Picture function In this menu, you can personalize your picture setting, colors (brightness, contrast, saturation and hue) can be changed to a fixed set of ideal predefined picture setting(Bright, Standard and Soft) or personal one, to suit various viewing situation.

    Password This password is used for the parental control and disc lock. Enter your password when you are required by the DVD player. Press the 34 keys to highlight the PASSWORD item. Press OK to open its submenu.

    Parental Control Movies on DVDs may contain scenes not suitable for children. Therefore, discs may contain ‘Parental Control’ information which applies to the complete disc or to certain scenes on the disc. These scenes are rated from 1 to 8, and alternative, more suitable scenes are available on the disc.
