The evaporative canister is located behind the fuel tank on the rear sub-frame. Th ti i t
On previous model, the evaporative emission is guided through a drain tube into the sub-
frame which is open to atmosphere. On 2009 Accord Euro, however, it is guided into the drain
box newly provided.
The anti water/drain box serves to prevent water from entering the canister, thus protecting it
against corrosion.
