CKP Sensor

CKP Sensor
The circular pitch interval of the teeth of the pulse plate which is
attached to the crankshaft has been changed to 6 degrees intervals
in order to have a higher accuracy of crankshaft rotation sensing,
and also locating the pulse plate at the transmission side of the
crankshaft has enabled sensing at a position where behavioral
change is least.
This allows control of the fuel injection timing and ignition timing to
be measured more accurately than the previous models.
Be sure to remove the CKP sensor before removing the oil pan or
the sensor will get damaged.
