HANGING
Follow these steps to change the battery:
1. Make sure the phone is OFF.
2. Lift the belt clip up out of the way.
3. Press and hold the release tab on the
back of the handset.
4. Grasp the battery cartridge, pulling it
down and away from the phone.
5. Place the drained battery cartridge in the
recharge cradle.
6. Insert the charged battery cartridge.
If you don't charge the handset batteries
properly (for 12 hours) when you first
set up the phone and/or when you buy a
new battery pack, the battery's long-
term performance will be compromised.
You can charge the new battery prior
NOTE:
to installing it by placing the battery in the
back charging slot of the base unit.
