Fault Diagnosis by Symptom
G EC14 : When the trouble is found on the part related to the up & down swing motor of indoor unit
(cassette model)
Check point :
- Wire short between indoor unit PCB up & down swing motor connector or bad contact.
- Output of indoor unit micom
- Defect of up and down swing motor
After check of the short circuit of harness for connect-
ing the up and down swing motor, operate the set in
the cooling mode and operate the wind direction up
and down, and then perform the test.
Perform the operation on and do the up & down
swing action on.
Is the up & down control panel
normally operating?
NO
No short or wrong connection of connection
of connector wire?
NO
Are the voltage of pin no. 1 and 6 of indoor
unit PCB DC 12V?
NO
Is the output of pin no. 2, 3, 4, and 5 of CN 12 and 13
of indoor unit PCB spherical?
YES
Replace up and down swing motor
