DISMANTLING INSTRUCTIONS
Safety Notes
1. Before carrying out any work ensure that the appliance is disconnected from the mains
supply.
2. Carry out insulation resistance, continuity and functional tests on the appliance after
service.
3. Personal safety precautions must be taken to protect against accidents caused by sharp
edges on metal, glass and plastic parts.
A) Hob Top
1.
Disconnect the hob from the electricity supply.
2.
Release the four hob securing clips.
3.
Lift the hob clear and lay it face down on a protected flat surface.
4.
Remove eight Pozi drive screws securing the glass to the base and chassis and lift base clear.
See Figs. 1 - 3.
Note: The flat surface must be free from sharp edges and debris to avoid damage to the glass.

B) Induction Plate
1.
Remove the hob top (A).
2.
Unplug the small two wire plug for the relevant element.
3.
Remove both the element main wires by releasing the T15 Torx screws.
4.
Whilst carefully releasing the plastic retaining latch with a flat bladed screwdriver, push the plate to
disengage from the keyways and lift the plate clear. See Figs. 4 - 6.
