2.3 Can I use my phone as a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot and
access the Internet from another device using my phone's
data connection?
Yes. You can use your phone as a portable Wi-Fi hotspot and share your phone's mobile data
connection with another device. Then you can access the Internet from the device.
Go to Settings. Under WIRELESS & NETWORKS, touch More... > Tethering &
portable hotspot > Portable Wi-Fi hotspot.
After the device finds your mobile phone using Wi-Fi, you can access the Internet from the
device using your mobile phone's data connection.
You can also set the hotspot name and security parameters by touching Configure Wi-Fi
hotspot.
