Step 5: Receiving GPS signals
1. Use the unit in an open space where no obstacles nearby with white
surface of the main unit facing up, and battery cover facing
down.
2. Blue light stays on for 2.5mins after turning on the switch.
3. Blue light blinking for 2 mins when valid GPS signals is received. If no
GPS signals, then no light. Should this happened, please restart the unit.
Step 6: Stand-by mode
1. Continuing point 3 of Step 5 and with valid GPS signal reception, then
initialize the GSM module. The Green light will blink 4 times for about
30 secs. If the light does not blink 4 times, please restart the unit.
2. When the blue and green lights blink alternately, the unit becomes
operational and in the standby mode.
Note
In the standby mode, we can check the GSM reception by
pressing the "Test" button. The GSM reception is normal
if the green light stays on for 3 secs.
Should the signals does not behave in this way, please
consult your retailers immediately.
