D-Link DES-3326S Layer 3 Switch CLI Reference
Used to add route redistribution settings for the exchange of RIP routes to
OSPF routes on the Switch.
create route redistribute dst ospf src [static|rip|local] {mettype
[1|2]|metric <value>}
This command will redistribute routing information between the OSPF and RIP
routing protocols to all routers on the network that are running OSPF or RIP.
Routing information entered into the Static Routing Table on the local DES-
3326S Switch is also redistributed.
src [static|rip|local] − Allows for the selection of the protocol for the source
device.
mettype [1|2] − Allows for the selection of one of two methods of calculating
the metric value. Type-1 calculates (for RIP to OSPF) by adding the
destination's interface cost to the metric entered in the Metric field. Type-2
uses the metric entered in the Metric field without change. this field applies
only when the destination field is OSPF.
metric <value> − Allows the entry of an OSPF interface cost. This is
analogous to a Hop Count in the RIP routing protocol.
Only administrator-level users can issue this command.
