3. Plug one end of the supplied short
coiled cord into the recorder's
jack. Plug the other end of
SET OUT
the short coiled cord into the tele-
phone's handset jack

USING AN EARPHONE

To connect an earphone (not supplied), in-

sert the earphone's / -inch (3.5–mm) plug

into the EAR jack on the back of the re-
corder. You can find a wide selection of
earphones at your local RadioShack store.
Note: Connecting an earphone discon-
nects the recorder's internal speaker.
