Cigarette lighter
The cigarette lighter can be operated with the
ignition in position 1 or 2. To operate, push in
knob. When ready for use, the lighter will snap
back. With the cigarette lighter removed, the
socket may be used for small electrical ap-
pliances, such as a shaver, hand vacuum
cleaner or air compressor to inflate the collaps-
ible emergency spare tire. The maximum rat-
ing of such equipment should not exceed 120
Watt/12 Volt.
Do not damage the socket by trying to in-
sert plugs of the wrong design.
Clock
The left-hand-push-button beneath the dis-
play is used for setting the hour. The right-hand
push-button is used for setting minutes.
A brief press of a button (best done with a ball
point pen) will set the time forward by one hour
or one minute.
Prolonged pressure on the button(s) will cause
the hours and/or minutes to be displayed in
sequence.
In order to set the time to the very second,
press the minute button at the very moment
you hear the time signal on your car radio.
Ashtray
The ashtray is located in front of the gearshift
lever in the center console. To empty tray, pull
it out of its well.
WARNING
Never use ashtray as waste paper disposal.
