CAUTION
Be sure all batteries are correctly installed
according to polarity before powering the
charger.
Ô
Ô
NOTE
• It is normal for the batteries to become warm
while charging.
• Charge the batteries in a location that is
between 32° and 113° F (0° – 45° C). If the
location is too cold, the batteries can
permanently lose their ability to charge. If the
location is too warm, the batteries will not be
fully charged.
• You cannot charge different battery types
(Ni-Cd or Ni-MH), different capacity batteries
at the same time.
• If you only charge two AA batteries, place
them in the same charging chamber.
• If the CHARGING lights do not turn on,
unplug the charger, remove the batteries,
and clean their contact surfaces. Then
reinstall the batteries and plug in the
charger. If the problem persists, the charger
may be faulty. Take the charger to your local
RadioShack store.
• If the CHARGING light flashes, one or more
of the batteries may be defective, shorted, or
an alkaline battery. Replace the battery.
• If the CHARGING light turns off after several
seconds, the batteries may be fully charged,
or alkaline batteries.
