    TCP/IP. The firmware is burned into flash memory, more stable and reliable. The Commercial series device has both the features of digital video recorder (DVR) and digital video server (DVS). It can work stand alone, also be used to build a powerful surveillance network, widely used in banking, telecommunications, transportation, factories, warehouses, irrigation, etc.

RS-232 supports transparent channel function so that the remote PC can use DVR to control serial devices. Supports bi-directional voice talk or one-way voice broadcast.

    The DVR has no HDD when leaving factory. Based on the record schedule, you can calculate the total capacity you need (refer to Appendix A). Please ask the specialist to disassembly the DVR and install HDD. If the vendor you purchased the DVR from did not include a HDD have HDD installed by qualified technicians.

    6.13 External Alarm Input and Relay Output For 8-channel DVR, there are 8 external alarm inputs and 4 relay outputs. For 16-channel DVR, there are 16 external alarm inputs and 4 relay outputs. In “Alarms” menu, you can setup each external alarm input.

    *IP address: This IP address must not conflict with other IP addresses. If there is DHCP server in the network, you can set the IP as “0.0.0.0”, save and reboot DVR. In reboot process, DVR will search the DHCP server and get a dynamic IP address. This item will display the dynamic IP address.
