Activating/deactivating the handset lock

Incoming calls are signalled and can be accepted or, for
example, forwarded to another telephone.
The following are blocked when the handset is locked:
– Dialling internal and external numbers
– Access to the telephone directory
– Block dialling

– Function menu call up (except for "Cancel Handset Lock")

DSS number for locked mobile unit
You can store one external DSS number (direct station
selection number) which can be dialled if the mobile unit is
locked. The DSS number can be, for example, a number at
which you can be reached if you are absent from the mobile.

Short cuts

Short cuts make it easier to perform "longer" operating
sequences, e.g. automatic callback or other code functions.
Store a function (operating sequence) under a name of your
choice. The name of the function is included in the list of
short cuts. You can execute the function quickly by confirm-
ing the name – see "Starting a shor t cut" page 43.
