Alert Sounds

This option allows you to select the alert type for different notifications.

Press the OK Key [MENU] > Settings & Tools > Sounds Settings > Alert Sounds.

For Emergency Tone, you can set the following options by pressing the OK Key [SET].

 Alert: The phone will play the emergency tone for emergency dialing except when the master

volume setting is set to Vibrate Only or All Sounds Off.

 Vibrate: The phone will vibrate for emergency dialing instead of playing the emergency

tone.

 Off: The phone will disable the emergency tone and vibration.

Note: If Emergency Tone is set to Alert and the master volume is set to Vibrate Only, the phone

will vibrate for emergency dialing. If the master volume is set to All Sounds Off, the phone will

not sound or vibrate for emergency dialing.

Keypad Volume

This option allows you to set the keypad volume.

Press the OK Key [MENU] > Settings & Tools > Sounds Settings > Keypad Volume.

Press the Directional Key up or down to adjust the volume and press the OK Key [SET] to

save the setting.

Digit Dial Readout

If the feature is on, the phone will call out the numbers when you dial each digit.

Press the OK Key [MENU] > Settings & Tools > Sounds Settings > Digit Dial Readout.

Select On or Off, and press the OK Key [SET].

Service Alerts

This option allows you to set the service alerts.

Press the OK Key [MENU] > Settings & Tools > Sounds Settings > Service Alerts.

You can turn the alerts for the following options On or Off by pressing the OK Key [SET].

 ERI: The phone will sound an alert when you go into service coverage areas if this option is

set On.

 Minute Beep: The phone will alert you with a beep before the end of every minute during a

call if this option is set On.

 Call Connect: The phone will alert you when the call is connected if this option is set On.

 Software Update: The phone will alert you when a software update is completed if this

option is set On.

Power On/Off

This option allows you to set the sound on or off when the phone is powered on or off.

Press the OK Key [MENU] > Settings & Tools > Sounds Settings > Power On/Off.

2. Select Power On or Power Off and press the OK Key.

Select On or Off and press the OK Key [SET].
