    Set Up Your Device You must first install and charge the battery to begin setting up your device. 1. Install the battery  Insert a coin or other flat object into the slot at the bottom of the battery compartment cover and lift the cover up gently.
  • Page 13  Insert the battery, contacts end first, and gently press the battery into place.  Replace the battery compartment cover, making sure all the tabs are secure and there are no gaps around the cover. Note: When you insert the battery, your device may power on automatically. 2.

    Set Up Voicemail You should set up your Sprint Voicemail and personal greeting as soon as your device is activated. Always use a password to protect against unauthorized access. Your device automatically transfers all unanswered calls to your voicemail, even if your device is in use or turned off.

    Mobile Networks Airplane Mode Airplane Mode allows you to use many of your device‟s features, such as Gallery, Camera, and Music, when you are on an airplane or in any other area where making or receiving calls or data is prohibited. When you set your device to Airplane Mode, it cannot send or receive any calls or access online information.
