    1.4 Installing an optional microSD™ Card An optional microSD card can be installed. Unmount the microSD card before removing it (see Erase and format the microSD card). Remove the back cover and the battery. Hold your microSD card with the metal contacts facing down and slide it in.

Connecting with incompatible accessories could physically damage your phone, or lead to excessive electrical current and cause battery explosion. The working temperature of the charger should be lower than 45°C. CAUTION: Do not change the built-in rechargeable battery in your phone by yourself.

    NOTE: If the battery is seriously depleted, you may be unable to power on the phone even when it is being charged. In this case, try again after charging the phone for at least 20 minutes. Contact customer service if you still cannot power on the phone after prolonged charging.

    1.8 Setting up for the first time When you first power on your phone after you purchase it or reset it to factory settings (see Backup & reset), you need to finish some basic settings before using it. Flick the language field to select the language. Then follow the on-screen prompts to set up your phone.

  • Page 35 Add a Wi-Fi network You can add a Wi-Fi network if the network does not broadcast its name (SSID) or add a Wi-Fi network when you are out of range. To connect to a secured network, you first need to get the security details from the network's administrator.
