12.4 Check the firmware version:
1.
Connect the VGA or DVI source and power off the monitor.
2.
Press
and
picture will appear on the top left corner.
3.
Select the "Factory" and press the "MENU" button to enter the factory mode.
4.
Screen is 48 gray-scales, Choose "AUTO Color", PC will switch to the gray-scale screen, and press "MENU"
button again, and it will show "ok" meaning "AUTO COLOR" OK.
5.
Power off to exit the factory mode.
6.
Power on and press the "MENU" button to enter the user menu, choose the "Reset" to do factory reset.

12.5 Troubleshooting:

1. When the tool appears erase error, you can change another version tool to try.
2. The program must be in the monitor standby state, while the fail communication with monitor might result the
monitor power off. In this situation, you may AC off the monitor for a while and then AC on to retry. Maybe the
defect will be cured.
3. The ISP Board 715GT034-B with LPT is unstable in some time. So try upgrade for one more time, or try to use
USB Board P/N is 715GT089-C to upgrade which is very stable if you own one.
4. Change ISP Board or cable.
5. Change PC.
6. If you have USB ISP Board 715GT089-B which is very stable, please use it to upgrade again
buttons at the same time, power on the monitor, and then press the menu again; the
