    826081-XIM-C-0214 General YORK Model ZF units are either single package air conditioners equipped with optional factory installed electric heaters, or single package gas-fired central heating furnaces with cooling FIRE OR EXPLOSION HAZARD unit. Both are designed for outdoor installation on a rooftop or slab.

    826081-XIM-C-0214 Condensate Drain Plumbing must conform to local codes. Use a sealing compound on male pipe threads. Install a condensate drain line from the 3/4” NPT female connection on the unit to an open drain. Do not loosen compressor mounting bolts. NOTE: The condensate drain operates in a negative pressure in the cabinet.

The room thermostat should be located on an inside wall approximately 1422 mm (56”) above the floor where it will not be subject to drafts, sun exposure or heat from electrical fixtures or appliances.

    826081-XIM-C-0214 Gas Connection The gas supply line can be routed through the knockouts located on the front of the unit or through the opening provided in the unit's base. Refer to Figure 12 to locate these access FIRE OR EXPLOSION HAZARD openings.

    826081-XIM-C-0214 Vent And Combustion Air Hoods The vent hood and combustion air hood (with screens) are shipped attached to the blower housing in the blower compartment. These hoods must be installed to assure proper unit function. All hoods must be fastened to the outside of the gas heat access panel with the screws provided in the bag also attached to the blower housing.
