Analysis
The G510 adopts the charging solution embedded in the PM8029. Three charging modes are
available, including trickle charging, constant current charging, and constant voltage charging.
The charging circuit is VEXT_DC > VCHG > VPH_PWR > Q201 pin 3 > VBAT.
Table 9-1 lists the definitions of related voltages and currents.

The PM8029 monitors the main voltage of the G510 using the CSOUT pin as follows:
The PM8029 is embedded with a 15-minute and a 32-second timer to save CPU resources.
The 15-minute timer starts automatically to charge the battery using loaded parameters if the
CPU does not provide I2C control signals. If the CPU provides I2C control signals, the
32-second timer starts. Figure 9-8 shows the timer start process
